Take a look at your current relationship with food? What does it look like? Do you go to food when stressed? Angry? Sad? Maybe you yo-yo diet with constant binging and restricting cycles? Over indulge and fill yourself up with guilt? Obsessing over macros? Take a moment of reflection and really think about it. What role is food playing in your life?
I always had an extremely unhealthy relationship with food. From massive restriction in high school trying to obtain a body type that was not mine- to major guilt after a binge. Everything about it was toxic. Little did I know then but this toxic relationship was sabotaging so many areas of my life.

Your relationship with food impacts every area of your life. Mind. Body. Soul. The holy trinity that creates the reality of existence. It all starts from within. By changing your relationship with food you will open the gates of increased mental clarity, higher energy, more creativity, mood stability, and all the benefits of vibrating at a higher frequency. Everything in this world is made up of energy. Food quite literally is the energy source that runs the human body. So it makes sense that our relationship with it is massively important.
1. Eat High Vibrational Food
All things are made of of energy, vibrations, and frequency (read more about the Laws of The Universe here). Your food included. Certain foods such as fresh leafy greens, fresh
fruits, nuts, and berries produce very high energy fields. This can be seen in kirlian photography- which captures the aura produced by things. Plants get their energy from the sun and photosynthesize that energy in order to grow. When we eat plants we are kind of eating light in a sense. Many spiritual gurus preach that as beings of light eating this way helps catapult you into higher realms of consciousness. “You are what you eat”, they say, and they couldn’t be more spot on. If you consume high vibrational food you are absorbing that higher frequency into your being and begin vibrating at a higher state. Conversely- if you consume low vibrational or dead foods such as highly processed, overly cooked, and imitation foods your frequency lowers.
2. Be Grateful
Your words and thoughts are extremely powerful. There is a reason praying to ones food has been a practice for hundreds of years. Gratitude instantly raises vibration. When you focus your gratitude and send loving energy to your food you are charging it up to even higher frequencies. Just a quick and simple expression of gratitude to your food before consumption will help raise your own frequency.
3. Remove the Guilt
Guilt is one of the lowest vibrational energies. Yet, in our diet culture so many of us suffer from this emotion when it comes to our food. Seeing certain foods as “bad” and others as “good”. When we eat these foods labeled as “bad” we actually make it worse! Don’t eat carbs, don’t eat sugar, don’t do this that and the other thing… All this thinking does is deepin your toxic relationship with food. Is eating good food essential to health? YES! But guess what? It is okay to indulge sometimes. Sending guilt and low vibrational energy towards food when we do choose to indulge only creates mayhem on a cellular/energetic level. Again, go watch Dr. Emoto’s water experiment! Remove the guilt and raise your vibration!
Well there you have it. Three steps to raising your vibration via food! Build a beautiful relationship with food- it will reward you in so many ways!
